Imperial is looking for an Independent, Outside Territory Sales Representative to cover the
state of Alaska. This person will be responsible for achieving sales growth and profit goals in the
territory for the Imperial Brand. This position is remote, with the ideal candidate located within
the geography described above.
Successful prior experience in sales, as well as the ability to prioritize projects and superb
organizational skills will be essential in this role.
Scope Of Responsibilities
The outside sales rep will be responsible for the sale of Imperial brand products, to
include headwear and apparel
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales goals
Identify and prospect new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Conduct in person product presentations to clients, communicating the value
proposition of our products
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market developments to
identify areas for growth
Work with the inside sales team and customer service to optimize sales strategies and
achieve overall company objectives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum 2 years sales experience in the
destination, leisure and resort industry
Candidate must live in one of the states listed above
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on building long term relationships
Proven ability to independently manage a large sales territory
Excellent interpersonal, oral & written communication planning and time management
skills
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage customer
interactions
Ability to travel the territory, over 65% via car, plane or train.
