Marketing Specialist

Imperial is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing team to help us drive our marketing initiatives forward. This role requires a self-starting, strategic thinker who will develop, plan, and execute the marketing go-to-market strategy and calendar in your assigned channels, present plans and results to management, and drive revenue growth.

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000, DOE

Full Time/Hourly: Full Time

Location: Bourbon, Mo. | Remote Friendly

Travel: 10-15%

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute the marketing go-to-market strategy and calendar in your assigned channels and present plans and results to management.
  • Identify and activate effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to relay product messages to customers.
  • Investigate the performance of the company’s marketing campaigns and strategies through evaluating key performance metrics.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and internal stakeholders through networking and prospecting.
  • Create goals and objectives with channel leadership to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels.
  • Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, and demographic data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the marketing team to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Design and direct the creation of creative assets (digital and print).
  • Travel to company sales meetings, trade shows, and other events as business requires.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of marketing experience (digital and/or traditional) in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Proven history of delivering results, formulating strategies, communicating to the appropriate audience, and executing against sales and strategic objectives.
  • Energetic, motivated, self-starter with a proven track record of working in a matrixed organization.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with the sales team, customer base, and other internal teams.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, CRM, and CMS software.
  • Understanding of external sales representative management and communication is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience in digital marketing (e-mail campaigns, social, e-commerce) is a plus.
