Scope of Responsibilities

We are seeking a website manager for our Custom Ecommerce Platform. While familiar with GA, SEO and paid media, this role is not a typical digital marketer or ecom specialist. We seek someone with a unique focus on customer acquisition and user experience. They understand brands and are highly capable of leveraging Imperial’s existing business, capabilities and brand awareness. There is enormous potential within this channel for a leader with a true entrepreneurial mindset. 

Strategy & Planning

  • Analyze customer base and seek unique ways to acquire and expose the Imperial brand and its capabilities 
  • Build business cases and plans and communicate upward as well as through the organization
  • Develop strong relationships with Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics and Operations, IT and Product Development.
  • Monitor competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth or threats to the business.

P&L

  • Own and drives the P/L for this channel
  • Develop short-term and long-term financial projections
  • Operate high level dashboard KPIs through supporting metrics (e.g., revenue, margin, shopper conversion, AOV, abandonment rate, LTV:CAC).
  • Review performance metrics and reports and develops action plans to ensure performance targets are met through the continuous improvement process.

Operations – UX, Merchandising, Technology, Fulfillment

  • Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Conduct monthly operational reviews on key customer support issues, performance reports, and promotion analysis.
  • Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Understand and leverage the manufacturing process for order fulfillment

Marketing

  • Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy that aligns with business goals
  • Own and manage internet marketing solutions, search engine optimization (SEO), and other monitoring methodologies and analytics: evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test e-commerce initiatives. 

Team

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the team meets or exceeds its goals while developing professionally

  • Email marketing expertise (familiarity with Klaviyo a plus)
  • Team player
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Good follow through, sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively and effectively communicate and collaborate on a team.

What Are We Looking For In You?

  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics.
  • Prior experience working with an outside digital marketing agency and other 3rd party resources
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results and drawing conclusions.
  • Strong hands-on understanding of test and learn methodologies.
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in both Direct to Consumer and B2B e-commerce.

Where Will You Be Needed?

This position is open to a hybrid schedule.  Either local with an expectation of 2-3 days at the Bourbon headquarters, or if remote with at least 10% travel to HQ.

What Kind Of Salary Can You Earn?

The base salary for this role is $75K and is not inclusive of other forms of compensation or benefits that may be available. Our philosophy on compensation is driven by the goal of attracting, developing, and retaining the best people to further our mission, vision, and business goals. Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including and not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
