Imperial is seeking an “Account Manager” to support Imperial’s business with Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, and other global brand partners. This individual will be managing the process from development to final shipment to the customer.

To be successful in this critical and fast-paced role, this team member must be able to lead meetings with customers, have strong problem solving skills, superb organizational and prioritization skill sets, and be able to build strong customer relationships.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Headwear and Apparel Sourcing –Familiar with headwear and apparel sourcing logistics and design nuances.
  • Custom Solutions – Serve as a sales resource and subject matter expert to production teams, distribution teams, sales team, and leadership team.  Assist in developing custom solutions for our brand partners.
  • Key Account Management – Act as a company liaison for top brand partners, providing continuous updates to partners on order status, development, program recommendations, and more.
  • Forecasting – Ability to project sales budgets and production numbers.
  • Presentation – Assist in building and delivering polished sales presentations.  Leading internal cross-functional meetings.
  • Travel – Estimated travel is approximately 1 or 2 trips annually per account.

Reporting Relationship

The Account Manager will report to the Sales Operations Manager.

Compensation Package

  • Base salary of $42,000-$52,000
  • 401K including company match

Candidate Profile

  • Apparel or Headwear Design Experience – A creative eye for custom logo decoration is a huge competitive advantage.
  • Customer Service – Outstanding bedside manor with customers, internal stakeholders and holding everyone involved accountable in good and bad business situations.  Excellent time management is key in this role.
  • Communication – This individual should have excellent oral and written communication skills. Dedication to detail and craftsmanship of the written word. Being able to effectively communicate, sell an idea, and tell a story is the key to success in this position.
  • Golf & Brand Affinity – Important but not mandatory to have a passion for and keen understanding of the game of golf, its unique culture and especially the Imperial brand.
  • Computer Skills – Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must for this role. Familiarity with basic Microsoft Suite, Gmail and order entry software.
  • Education – College degree preferred.
